ODRADE was founded in the spirit of complete brand independence, and it is worth pausing for a moment to really think about what this means in the world of machine safety. Independence here is not just a nice-sounding adjective, but an operating principle that determines our decisions, our professional stance, and ultimately the value we provide to our customers.
It is common practice in the industry for a safety service provider to also be a distributor of specific devices. This is not objectionable in itself, but it necessarily introduces a bias into the consulting process. If the products of a particular manufacturer are available, the search for a solution will also take place within this framework. The question then is whether the solution that emerges is truly the best, most technically sound, and most sustainable in the long term.
We founded ODRADE with the intention of removing this limitation. We are not backed by a safety device manufacturer, we have no sales targets, and we have no product placement requirements. Our decisions are based solely on standards, technical facts, and the actual operating environment of the plant or machine in question. This freedom is both a professional and a responsibility issue: it allows us to guarantee that all our recommendations truly serve the interests of our customers.
We have designed our corporate management system, work environment, and team building in the spirit of freedom. We have created an environment free of unnecessary administrative red tape, artificial barriers, and internal constraints. The goal is for our professionals to be able to work at the highest level and truly focus on the professional content. We believe that internal quality is directly reflected in the quality of our services. If the organization’s operations are clear and transparent, this is also felt on the customer side.
This approach is also reflected in the fact that we do not deliver pre-made checklists. Of course, compliance with standards is the basis of all our work, but the safety concept is not a universal recipe. The development process of a machine manufacturer, the architecture of a system integrator, or the daily operations of an operator all present different challenges. We do not believe that there is one solution that fits all situations. Our task is to create a professionally safety framework in which the customer can make truly informed decisions. We accompany, structure, and validate the thought process, but we do not replace the decision.
For us, an uncompromising approach means seeking the most appropriate solution rather than the most convenient one. This requires sufficient capacity, time, and professional expertise. We have consciously built our team and our operations so that the capacity of each individual is well above the industry average, both in field work and in background analysis. This ensures that, instead of quick, superficial responses, we develop well-thought-out, long-term sustainable systems for all our clients.
However, independence does not mean a lack of rules. Standards and legal frameworks provide a stable foundation within which we can think freely. Freedom here means conscious, responsible professional autonomy. Our goal is to create systems that comply with standards but are also suited to real-world operations.
We believe that a change in attitude is taking place in the field of machine safety. More and more players are recognizing that true safety is not merely a matter of compliance, but the result of conscious planning and objective professional decision-making. ODRADE intends to play an active role in this process. We represent a mindset that focuses on objectivity, transparency, and professional integrity.
For us, everyone who wants to develop is a partner, whether they are equipment manufacturers, machine manufacturers, or operators, small or large companies.
